They are required to transmit information within the network and for the services provided on the AMAGOO website. Furthermore, cookies enable us to identify visitors and to track the course of their visit to our website, for instance in order to store the personal preferences of the user; this enables the user, when navigating from one page to the next or during future visits to the website, to perform tasks without having to enter his/her information again each time. 8.   In order to enable AMAGOO to continuously improve and optimise its digital service, AMAGOO uses so-called tracking technologies. Web analysis tools provide AMAGOO with statistics and charts containing information on the use of our website, the information it provides and its contents. To do so, the AMAGOO website uses Google Analytics (Google Analytics Privacy) and leadforensics software in order to collect data on the behaviour of the visitors to its site. All user data is stored under an anonymous user ID so as to be able to create a so-called alias user profile; in doing so, the identification of individual devices is not permitted. Cookies may also be used for this purpose. The data collected using Google Analytics is not used to determine the personal identity of visitors to the website. It is not linked to the data of the person who has been assigned the alias user profile, unless he/she has personally given their consent to do so.
According to its own privacy policy, Google meets the data privacy regulations of the “EU-US Privacy Shield Framework” and the “Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework” and has signed up for these frameworks designed by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the European Commission and Swiss Administration. The IP address transmitted by your browser to Google Analytics is treated independently from other Google data. This data can only be transmitted by Google to any third party in compliance with the legal requirements or within the scope of the order data processing.
You can block the collection of your data via cookies and during your visits to our website (including your IP address), as well as the subsequent processing of this data by Google; to do so, download and install the browser plug-in available under the following link: ( .  For more detailed information on Google Analytics and its privacy policy, please visit or

9.   Our website uses “social plug-ins” (hereinafter referred to as plug-ins) of social networks on the Internet. These plug-ins are shown using the logo of the respective network. If you access a website containing such a plug-in, a direct connection with the servers of the relevant social network is established. If, at this point of time, you are logged into this network with your username and password, this network is automatically notified that you are visiting our website. This information can be assigned to your user account on this social network. Furthermore, if you interact with plug-ins (for instance by clicking “Like” or “Share” on Facebook or “Tweet This” on Twitter), the contents of our pages will be linked with your profile on the respective social network. Other users of this network may be notified of this interaction. AMAGOO is not affiliated in any way with the third-party providers whose websites are embedded into AMAGOO’s website by means of plug-ins, nor shall it be held responsible for such websites. Even if you are not a member of the respective social network or you are not logged into this network, it is still possible that your IP address is transmitted to these networks and stored there. Specific data protection guidelines and liability regulations apply to third-party websites integrated via plug-ins. The storage and use of your data by these website operators may exceed the scope of this Privacy Policy of AMAGOO. AMAGOO has no knowledge of and no influence on the purpose and scope of the data collection or of the further processing and use of the data.

Please find below a list of the social networks whose plug-ins we use on our website. Please visit their respective websites for further information on your rights and setting options to protect your privacy:

10.     Please note the following with respect to MailShare: Contents of websites and social networks can also be shared by e-mail (so-called MailShare). If an e-mail is sent via this function, the privacy policy of the respective mail provider shall apply (for example that of Google Mail, GMX, Hotmail etc. or, as the case may be, that of your employer). AMAGOO does not store any e-mail data entered by the user to access the MailShare function.

11.   At most, AMAGOO may send you a newsletter to the e-mail address disclosed to us. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, either by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in the newsletter itself or by sending a message to our data protection officer (see section 1 above).

We use MailChimp to distribute our newsletter. MailChimp is a service provided by Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. It can be used, for example, to organise and analyse the distribution of newsletters. If you enter your data in order to receive our newsletter (e.g. e-mail address), it will be stored on the servers of MailChimp in the USA. MailChimp is “EU-US Privacy Shield” certified. The “Privacy Shield” Framework is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the USA, which is intended to ensure compliance with the European data protection standards in the USA. Furthermore, we have entered into a so-called “Data Processing Agreement” with MailChimp, which obligates MailChimp to protect the data of our customers and not to disclose it to any third party. This agreement can be viewed under the following link: We can use MailChimp to analyse our newsletter campaigns. If you open an e-mail that was sent using MailChimp, a file contained in this e-mail (a so-called “web beacon”) connects to the mail servers of MailChimp in the USA. This allows us to determine whether a newsletter message was opened and which links were clicked, as the case may be. In addition, technical information (such as the time of access, IP address, browser type and operating system) is collected. This information cannot be assigned to the respective newsletter recipient. It is merely used for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better match future newsletters to the interests of the recipients. If you do not wish to participate in such analyses by MailChimp, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We will store the data you have provided to us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter until you unsubscribe from the newsletter; subsequently, it will be deleted both from our servers and those of MailChimp. Data we have stored for other purposes (e.g. e-mail address for the member area) shall not be affected by this. For further information, please refer to the privacy policy of MailChimp at:

12.   If you have any questions or complaints regarding this Privacy Policy or the processing of your personal data by AMAGOO, please contact our data protection officer (see section 1 above).

13.   This Privacy and Cookie Policy is effective from 15th June 2018. AMAGOO reserves the right to amend, modify or suspend this Policy at any time. Any amendment, modification or suspension of this Privacy Policy will be published on this page of our website.
